Edith Asibey

Edith (pronouns: she/her) is the founder of Asibey Consulting. She is an advocacy and communication strategist, behavior designer, and Tiny Habits Coach who has honed her skills leading global organizations dedicated to solving the most pressing challenges of our time. Edith leads Asibey Consulting’s work with nonprofits, foundations, humanitarian organizations, and socially responsible companies that want to drastically improve how they engage supporters.

 

Jamie Lonie

Jamie (pronouns: he/him) supports the digital communications and marketing needs of Asibey Consulting’s clients. He has several years of experience in traditional and digital communications within the education sector. He began his career as a PK-5 science teacher in the Houston Independent School District. As a result of his classroom experience, he has focused his career on digital communications for education nonprofits and mission-driven companies – especially those working to support of schools, students, and families.

 
 
 

Cynthia Olson

Cynthia (pronouns: she/her) has developed expertise in strategic communications working with leading nonprofit and philanthropic organizations. She has worked on a range of issues including girls’ education, reproductive health and rights, gender equity, access to education, and narrative change around race and poverty.  She has advised non-profit and education institutions on communications strategies, including the Harlem Children’s Zone, the Mailman School of Public Health, and the Parkinson’s Foundation, among others, and is a long-time collaborator with Asibey Consulting.

Vivian Gallegos

Vivian (pronouns: she/her) brings several years of political and nonprofit experience in community organizing, fundraising, marketing, and communications to Asibey Consulting. She began her career on the campaign trail organizing volunteer events, speaking with constituents, and leading communications efforts. Driven to causes that improve the lives of others, she then moved to the nonprofit sector where she has worked with several education nonprofits including Teach For America Houston, Comp-U-Dopt Inc., and OneGoal. 

 
 
 

Kayla wood

Kayla (pronouns: she/her) serves as a project manager at Asibey Consulting, bringing a wealth of experience as a multimedia journalist and content creator with a strong background in social media. Entering into the nonprofit sector in 2018, her work has centered around critical issues such as housing, education, recidivism, and racial justice. Kayla's diverse professional journey has tackled both regional and global topics. Recently, her focus has been on youth organizing, as she serves as a digital content creator at the Schott Foundation.

 
 
 

Trinity Worthy

Trinity (pronouns: she/her) brings to Asibey her experience in content planning, copywriting, and visual assets such as graphics and videos. With a Communications degree in Journalism and Electronic Media from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, she began working in radio, where she was the co-director of 90.3 WUTK’s music department. As she started her shift into the workforce, she found the path of digital communications via a Tennessee Volunteers Communication  Internship program. After a summer of interning with the organization Heart of Los Angeles, she began her freelance career working with Amplifi Digital and soon thereafter Asibey Consulting, where she contributes with content creation, digital marketing and project management.
