As new year's resolutions are put into practice (or subsequently fall out of practice), it’s important to consider a different approach to enforcing change in our day-to-day lives. One way this can be done is by implementing Tiny Habits.
“Is there a way that this method could be used to help people make generosity a habit?”
Our founder, Edith Asibey, recently spoke with Farra Trompeter of Big Duck’s “The Smart Communications” podcast about this simple yet powerful method to change behavior that was created by Stanford Behavior Scientist, BJ Fogg, PhD. Edith explains that Tiny Habits “not only helps you change behaviors or adopt new behaviors, but it helps you sustain them over time. In other words, it helps you turn new behaviors into habits.”
Along with the three ingredients of a Tiny Habit, Farra and Edith also tackle Tiny Habits for generosity, the benefits for individuals and nonprofit organizations, and what success can look like. If you work in the nonprofit sector, you will likely need people to take some kind of action; Edith shares how she uses the Tiny Habits method to apply it to behaviors that help others.
